Events

Professional photography of your event not only documents the occasion, it provides you with high-end images for your website, social media and future promotions. As a contractor working among your guests and colleagues I am always courteous and efficient, and have photographed so many events I interact easily with everyone and have a very good sense of where and what needs to be done.

Event Photography – StreetWork – Glam and Grunge Ball

StreetWork is a charity that works with “at risk” young people. It provides a range of services from advocacy to case management, mentoring and life skills acquisition. It has three branches in Chatswood, Manly and Hornsby-Ku-ring-gai. Whilst the youth workers and the executive officer are salaried roles, the rest of StreetWork’s staff are volunteers. The charity is largely self-funded, and the Glam & Grunge Ball is the main fundraising event for the year. The 2017 Glam & Grunge is the 7th time the event has been run. It is run as a pop up event in car parks, warehouses and this year in Pier 2 at Walsh Bay.

StreetWork approached Sarah Lorien to see if she would be willing to photograph the event, which can be a challenge to photograph. There are lots of activities going on in differentplaces at different times. However, from the moment Sarah agreed to photograph the event she was professional, enthusiastic and approachable, and had the ability to be in 3 places at once, capturing great moments without being intrusive to guests.

The photographs she has produced really captured the spirit of the night and are the best photographs of any Glam & Grunge to date. I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah for any photographic job. She is a pleasure to work with and the results will be outstanding.
